Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Oh boy, ok for now I'll keep an eye on him and see if I can get maybe an acclimation box to isolate him. Right now he's still moving around and doesn't seem to be getting worse. I'll keep peeps posted
That's the thing. I've been feeding this guy (not sure if he's been eating though)
I squirt him with reef Chilli 1x per week and I read that they feed on film algae n what not
@art13. How can i save him?
If you haven't mailed mines out yet, I'm coming so I can pick up. You can keep the $7 and I can toss in an extra $1.
If you did mail it out, np.....i can still toss in extra $$$$
sounds like that will be almost a 1/3 of the btl (250ml size) going into that ATO....Paul, like you mentioned, i honestly do not know exactly how much water evaporates out of tank on a daily basis as i do know that the rate is not consistent. it seems like something that i can "muck up" and do...
ive always kept a mixed reed, not SPS dominant but a few pieces here n there. so with that, i have always wanted to keep the peeps happy by dosing kalk, i've been using it for years and i have never used any other kind of supplement so i wanted to throw it out there
see'ing your response made me re-read the instructions on the btl. it says:
for minor adjustments, add 5ml (not 1ml ---that was my mistake as apparently i cant read english) per 30gal of water. 5ml will raise the alkalinity by 3.1 dkh and that if Alk is below 7 dkh, to add the maximum of 5ML...
guys, so i do not have dosing pump (although i should by now) and i am tired of dosing manually. would i be able to dose alkalinity into my ATO? this is a method i use with kalkwasswer and it works fine, but the issue is that i am burning though ato pumps as the stuff is corrosive. i have a btl...
still available. can bring to the reef club meeting if that will sweeten the deal
Overflow box: $50.00 (has worked wonders for me, no longer need it)
*will toss in a tom's aqua lifter for $10 (with new diaphragms installed (April 2016) <--she purrs like a kitten)
For glass or acrylic...
i use this on my 34 biocube....works just fine and no complaints yet. it's slim too so thats a plus

people just destroyed this post on FB....now that i understand, i now understand and i do agree that this posting will cause more harm than good
they should've offered freshwater "nemo and dory" alternatives IMO.....with the 30gal, you can easily mimic a salt water set up with plastic plants...
