I agree with others on the high price and about the "fish sticker".Being in the club def does help in many ways with this though.What I have learned if anything is that this hobby is always a good thing bad thing and always theres a pest of some kind just waiting around the corner as in bubble...

I use the felt socks and actually like the way they polish the water.Every 3-4 days I change them out and just throw them in the washer with some bleach- let the cycles go and air dry....good to go.Sometimes I turn em inside out and give them a second wash if I fed heavily while using that pair.

I like the KB pet product too the full spectrum blend is fantastic(or so the fish think)I also mix in some flake food and diced garlic and also fish roe.All the fish are fat and healthy.

Mark, I had a problem awhile back when it was "stuck" try some cooking oil around the threads and use the plastic wrench and tap it lightly with a hammer.OR try a pvc pipe over the handle of the plastic wrench for more leverage.I even tried to tighten it and in the next motion loosen it.
