No. I put a strainer on top and have the overflow as a straight pipe with the strainer about an inch below water level and a valve to adjust. Probably could have gone with a sicce 2.0 rather than a 1.5, but it seems to work well.

So. Just a quick update. I removed the AI Prime 16HD and installed a Radion XR30. It’s definitely overkill. Great coverage though, as the light is about the same size as the top of the tank. I’m too cheap to spring for a $100+ mount, though so I ended up using a desk mounted monitor stand and...

So, I am created a small frag system, with an acrylic tank and internal overflow setup up top. The overflow area is small, with only a single hole in the middle. Was going to try and make a Durso, but there really isn't enough room. How should I set up my overflow? Just the hole in the bottom...
