Need a prescription for Diamox and QT is 73 and main tank is 74.5.

I tested the QT tank and SG is 1.022 and main SH tank is 1.025. Temp is 74.5 on main SH tank and 73 in the QT. I don't plan on any changes based on these readings and will order some new meds, just not sure what one.

Some further reading stated keeping seahorses at high SG can cause GBD. They recommend no lower than 1.017; mine is safe as the reef. Considering lower the SG for the QT guy and see if it helps, plan to go to 1.020. Thoughts? P.S. Paulie, the article also stated high temps can cause GBD for...

Went to order a cheap $10 light from AMZ and won't arrive until Oct......LOL Goes without saying did not order it.

Tough call. Could be a parasite but which so can be treated properly. Or is it really an oxygen issue. Sometimes you get one that cannot handle all the stress of capture and moving around. Good luck.

What tank mates are with it? Could be getting bullied.

I would go with the Vipraspectra over the tank centered and about 12" high from tank. Low light corals can on bottom and sides. You can increase / decrease the intensity of the light and find a happy medium for all coral. EDIT: Be aware that this light is heavy. I had one and in Feb this year...

I had two 165w over a 72g tank 4ft long and they grew everything, not Vipaespectra. I also had a 300w Viprasprctra over my 92g corner with many different corals. It really depends on what you want to keep. If looking to keep SPS and certain LPS you may want to get a better light. The ramping up...
