Paulie, many suggestions searching states temp can be BTW 70 and 79, seems rather high IMO. I keep my house temp BTW 73 and 75 depending on the outside temp. Normally the tank temp for the horses is 73. I do have some easy soft coral in there for them to hitch to.

Not sure. I keep the sea horse tank at room temp. Right now it's about 75.

Chemiclean may he!p with dinos. So it does not look unsightly. I did a total black out to rid my dinos, battled it for a long time.

@deetu, no airstone. I turned the flow down few weeks and read maybe not enough gas exchange now. So increased HOB filter and pointed PH more towards the top. Burped him a 4th time but my wife saw something solid come out, I missed it. Did a 5g water change and have added Bacterial Infection...

Agree, depends on what you plan to keep. I don't do many WC but hopefully that will increase after I setup the other tank. I only dose Alk and Calc and Magnesium even when doing regular scheduled WC.

That might work if no corals because you don't need to replace trace elements. Will get dirt out to keep nutrients down.

If you are like me, not much room to store large amounts of water. A small water change and his could be helpful.
