Well I started dosing Vodka today. I added 0.1ml per 25 gallons for a total of 0.3ml for the entire system. I am keeping a log and will let everyone know how bad or good it goes. Wish me luck. Mark

My nitrates are testing at about 35ppm. I know I need to do a water change to lower it. I did a 10g one a few days ago. I need to make more RO water which I do outside and with this rain won't happen soon. My question is should I use tap water or wait until I get more RO made? Mark

I have mixed some Kalk and my question is... After it mixes and settles could I pour the mixture through some cheese cloth or a coffee filter to remove the sediment? This way I can drip dose and avoid clogging or excess kalk in my tank. Mark

Well I have confirmed that my Flame Angel has a taste for some SPS corals such as Pocillpora and the Green Slimer frag I won at the meeting. I won't be getting rid of it as it's my favorite fish.

Hate to hijack here but saw something that caught my eye. It stated that RODI should be 0/2 for use. I have a brand new RODI and my tap measures 137 and the best I could get from the unit was 5/6. Are you syaing that this isn't good enough to use? Am I just wasting my time making water?
