I have had my sea hare for 2 years. Sometimes I will see it a few nights in a row and then not for weeks. Jenn, you could take the rock out and scrub it, rinse, repeat until you're satisfied. Shouldn't kill to much of the live rock. Just have a good cleanup crew to keep it in check.

I only feed 3/4 times a week. Usually, I feed only 1 cube but if they seem extra hungary I'll use 2. I have a Flame angel, Purple tang, damsel, Pseudochromis, blenny, engineer goby, hawk fish, sbrittle tarfish; plus the corals.

I also don't rinse and mix two different cubes in a small plastic cup with saltwater. I don't feed the whole thing at once. I poor a little in until it's all gone and repeat until there is no more food. I also use both sides of the tank when feeding so it's all on one side.
