Try lowering your calcium to around 430, I think over 500 is on the high side. I know a cal level might not directly have an impact on your problem but you never know, in this hobby everything you do can impact 4 other things. And you said your rodi water is testing at 1 tds? Did you ever test...

I see what you mean, i think the new pic looks blurry too. Fish and rock work. Nothing looks defined. The old camera pics do look clearer and sharper. Same prob i have with mine it always looks blurry >:(

No hammer, but I do have a torch, the pep's I had before never bothered it and the newbies didn't go near it either..... yet! I've never heard so many bad things about pep's. Only complaint i ever really heard is that they didn't eat an aptaisa that they were put in to eat.

If the frag isn't covering the whole top of the plug yet. I take the frag cutters and hold the cutting side against the top of the plug. Then cut the frag off. It doesn't really cut the frag, it will pop the whole piece off and you'll have a clean plug left. I do this because i use to just pry...
