    Yeah i would think any size pump would draw some amount of air in from the beckett. Maybe inspect your beckett further

    It's actually very colorful, like a blueish color. And on the sides it's feathery. I seen about 8" of it then it shot back behind the rock so it must be a lot bigger. Very fat too. Good or bad? My corals are fine

    If you have an 1 1/2 inlet to pump water in, and the outlet is 8" I don't think you'll ever get the skimmer filled with water. You would need a ridiculously big pump. Unless thats what hes trying to do. He might of meant 2" outlet? Would be more to scale

    I think most the softies do better in not so pristine water. Prob do a water change every 3 weeks unless you have a lot of sps and a heavy fish load
