I agree, filter socks will probably help you out a lot. If you have to use somethin else in between the baffles use bio bail, I know etss has it and it clogs and holds less crap then bio balls.

You could always plug the three into a three way then plug that in. Or wire all three together on one tail with a plug

I always thaw and rinse my frozen food with ro water, but doing it everytime I feed is a pita! I thought i seen on one of the foods to only thaw as much as you can use in one day? I guess you shouldn't let it thaw then refreeze, but I'm not sure. I'd like to thaw all my food, rinse it good, mix...

They are quick growers. You can always rip off the new growth if it gets out of control and trade with it. They do look good along the bottom of the rocks though.

Is it under MH'S ? Try it toward the bottom of your tank in lower flow. Being it's in a new tank now it might need time to adjust.

I'd dose the food with garlic and see what happens. There use to be a frozen food called lifeline it was blue and helped with ich and parasites. Don't know where they sell it anymore though
