I see you have one of those tough bins from home depot in your sump, it came with a yellow top? I tried the same thing for a while but it took up too much room for me. You have any critters or fish in your sump to keep it clean

Take the pump off and pour water down overflow and into the return. If water comes out both where you disconnected pump then they're not clogged and it's the pump

I like when they go on the glass, looks cool and leaves your rock open

If it stopped overnight then somethin probably got into it

So basically the standard is all I need

I like the MH. T-5's don't give you the shimmer. I guess you could add some led's to get the shimmering effect but I don't know how it compares haven't seen it yet. MH been around forever if it ain't broke don't fix it. Also depends on what you wanna keep. What kind of corals do you have? Try...
