My feeling as well.....a simple shoe moulding or you can go real fancy. HD and Lowes have a selection of oak moulding.

Don't be too quick on blaming the quality of the bearing. I used a good quality bearing (ABEC5), and still have some noise. Others have used the lowest quality bearings (ABEC 1), and haven't had a problem. And in regard to ceramic, i know it's long, but if you want to do this replacement...
