I've always cycled tanks by "feeding" them. Even back to my fresh water days. Slow and steady wins the race. But that's just my humble opinion.

Fish Eggs, huh? Yeah, I won one of the Rod's Food original blend, and he gave me one of the big packages of the fish eggs. The fish AND corals LOVE that stuff. Think the CBB will go for those? And where would I even get black worms?

What have you tried so far? PaulB and Blange3 I believe are using blackworms successfully. You should hit them up. Theyve both been successful keeping them.

If the shimmer is the only thing making you hesitate about going T5 over MH, add a few high intensity LEDs. They provide a similar, if not the same, shimmer.

Thanks Bill. I'm leaning more and more towards the 180. But isn't the CS125 skimmer a little underpowered for that kind of volume? I like the mag pumps. Was considering that, just wasn't sure what size I would need to power that size system. I'm running 9.5s with valves on both my 90 gallon tanks.
