Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
The epoxy probably goes for $4 or 5 at Home Depot, but may be throwing good money after bad. I think you've got a better chance with it than with a cyanoacrylate, but it is probably a crap shoot.
I'm not familiar with the Sea-Flo, but it sounds like the prop should not be rotating independently of the magnet. I've tried Crazy Glue in a similar situation, but it has no shear strength and will fail. You might try a two-part epoxy glue (not a two-part epoxy putty).
Hach P04 Colorimeter
I'm selling off my Hach phosphate colorimeter for $150 shipped. The testing range is 0.02 to 3.00 ppm.

There's Hanover Pet (a.k.a. Aquatic Visions) in East Hanover:

200 State Route 10 East Hanover, NJ 07936
They're in the strip mall by the Home Depot. And, there's Kam Man in the same mall where you can buy nori.
I came across an interesting plastic material yesterday that I thought I'd share. Called Mold-a-Holder, it is sold for creating holders for float switches. Seems to me that it should also have other uses in our hobby.

I only started using my ReefKeeper iTemp last week, so I can't comment on how often it needs calibration, and yes, Digital Aquatics is in need of a decent documentalist.
The quest for an accurate temperature reading is more difficult than most people think. Most thermometers claim to be...
redfishbluefish,
I had a jury-rigged fix for this problem too, so I went to Lowes and got the parts...
The hole through the fix is only 3/8", while most Mag pumps were designed for 1/2" output. Is there any loss of throughput or any loss of head with the fix?
Thanks,
Bob
I've used a pen sized butane torch on Aiptasia. Doesn't smell too good. Don't recommend you try it on Valonia - they explode any you get splattered with hot Valonia fluids. :(
Nope, near Allentown, in Northampton, close to the LVI Airport. Nice sized store - all saltwater. Decent prices on both specimens and hardgoods. Here's a link...

I go 3 or 4 times a year, and consider it well worth the trip.
Near Philly, you might be thinking...
I've used Fletco Ferrothane paint on angle iron stands. It lasts a good 5 years before rust starts to develop. If I was a real finatic, I would consider using a real two-part epoxy paint. On the last two I setup, I used an inch of foam (Home Depot insulation foam, I recollect) between the tanks...
Used Seio Controller/1100/1500 Setup
The Controller and the 1500 pump have about 18 months use on them. The 1100 pump was just used to mix new salt water. All three come with their original boxes and instructions. The pumps each have all of their original plethora of attachment and flow control...
