If they are small I like peppermints. You can several of them and it really won't impact anything in your tank. I have never used the nudis so I have no advice there. My peppermints eat some fish food but they also keep the aiptasia down.

Most LFS carry some sort of pods. Tigger pods are the most common, I like DT's pods personally. Reef pods are supposed to be pretty good will be trying them out when my local LFS gets them in to kickstart the tank after an interceptor treatment.

You may lose some of the "life" on the liverock (pods, micro stars or inverts) but it will have no ill effect on the coral or live rock.
