Glad to help. Bulb choice all depends on what you like as far looks...but those are good bulbs you cannot go wrong.

Yes, I would suggest one thing to make your life better. Have good bulbs. I sound like a broken record but it makes a ton of difference. You probably want to pick at least 4 of the following ATI Blue Plus, UVL Aquasun, and GE 6500K daylight for the simple reason is they are the three best...

+1 on temp swings and alk swings.

I would like to point out that I have SPS, LPS and Clams all under T5. Assume you have a 6x54 watt system that should be plenty.

The tank is not that established in regards to Nitrates. I would guess the pink is from the coral.

You have higher growth with the 6700k the 10000 middle and 14000 k last You get most yellowish with 6700 and least with 14000K I personally like the 10000 K UVL Aquasun. The GE 6500(think it is 6500 or 6700) K is one of the highest PAR and great growth...lots of the old Wendy T5 group use it...

I don't think the pump should be running that hot. Again try to switch that one off and run the other one. I run one Mag 12 on my 120 and right now it is at 81 but I have T5 lighting and some less efficient pumps then you.

I see you tried shutting down one pump. Try the other one also maybe one pump is overheating. And stick another thermometer in there to make sure the temp is correct.

I agree with the last two callers. Make sure your thermometer are you using...I keep two in the tank one on my controller and an old fashion liquid type. I had an electric one go bad and I cooked my tank thinking the temp was too low, caused some serious problems.

I think that you need to keep at least some of it. Has to be in half the tanks in NJ. Mine is about 10inx8in
