I have one cleaner and one peppermint shrimp, specifically the cleaner vanished for just short of a week the last molt. The peppermint appears at random intervals. I wouldn't write it off yet.

No it oscillates a bit. I think it is one the washers, I spoke to their customer service and that is what they suggested it would be. I am pretty excited about the new pumps too. Makes you wonder why you would buy the old controlable K4s? And if their controller unit will come down in price?
