I got some from Mike...must have been in the 20K stage bright purple...put them under my 10K and they grew nicely but turned your color...got some new bulbs that are 12k getting a little more color back. Just one more thing I should have asked Mike when I was there.

I don't have a good answer for you sorry but I have a couple questions that might help get a better answer. Are they both going to be in sump, one in one out, both out? My personal thought would be to have one big one outside the sump for heat reasons but that is really a guess.

Watch your water quality going in. I found that in my AP temp swings created a lot of problems with cyano.....also run some phos and silicate remover in one of your back chambers it will help. That along with good water changes will clear it up. In a way it is not bad because it tells you you...

Most of the online places to order give you a reference for size. 101 Saltwater Fishes is a nice reference guide for size at least.
