I've been thinking about this awhile and decided to give redsea NO3 PO4x a try.i have used bio pellets in the past on my Fowlr system and wanted to see if this would be something that would control and maintain my NO3 and P04 levels.

so here we go day one
no3 25ppm
p04 0.5
I will post up as we go! iam going to be dosing everyday manually until I set up my dose over weekend. iam taking the slow approach with a reduced recommended dosage to try to bring the bacteria along slow. the test results where before my water change about 3weeks since last water change..

just thought I mention I like bio pellets once you dial it in and it works very well for nitrates but I wanted to reduce equipment and cost so we will see how this works out! hopefully I wont destroy my system !

I went to the Manhattan reefs fall swap at pratt university today and picked up a few frags and a beautiful six line wrasse from our sponsor Salgado Aquatics !!

just an update of my tank results using nopox
no3= 1ppm
po4=0.02
iam currently dosing a daily amount and doing monthly water change of 10%I started dosing nopox on oct.24,2019.
