Well the wife said if we take the knee wall out between the kitchen and family room I could possibly put a tank there as a room divider. Cost is a major factor for construction as it would take away from the money I'd have to invest in the tank. If it costs too much she'll never go for it.
My problem is the tank would sit horizontally on 2 joists which wouldn't be much support. The room I have to work with is 92 X 24. So the tank size would be custom around 360 gallons. I would need input on how to sure up the floor to hold that much weight, would tripling up the 2X10 joists be enough to hold that much weight? there is a doorway and ducking under where the tank would go so this would not be an easy build. What's everyone's thoughts?
Oh and I almost forgot this will not be possible with out a lot of help from fellow NJRC members, I would need people to move the tank and help with adding rock plumbing and so on, also help with the build in a whole. As most of you know I'm disabled and can't do heavy lifting
