I had two yellows and a sailfin in the 220 and they beat each other up for a little while. only occasionally would i see them chase each other after a couple months. you should be ok though, yellows can be real jerks
I meant to put it comes with the jbj stand. I will throw in dry rock I have left over (buyers choice), no sand unfortunatly.

I want to pass this along, i did check and he is not a sponsor but i have seen more and more negative reviews about him. there is a recent thread on delreefclub (delaware) and they revoked his sponsorship. i did not have a great experience with him in 2009 as my shipment did not even have a...
Fair warning to everyone following this, mag float pads can get hard enough with time to scratch glass. found this out the hard way. i visited four lfs and noone had magfloat replacement pads so i went ahead and bought a aqueon magflip. it worknok i guess the pad side doesnt seem to work worth a...
I like the LED's, the one LPS i had left was on the sand bed and the polyps grew great. I moved it to the 120 and about half way up the rock and the Polyps look like they are reaching for the T5. I had a clam, zoas, polyps, SPS in the tank with no problem.
Take it apart if you feel comfortable and rinse everything in hot water real good , then you can run it in a bucket for how ever long you want.

Good to know what it is. Hopefully I can get the darn thing to spread finally. It has taken almost every inch of the rock its on but never any farther. I'll try having it higher in the tank this go around and feeding it.
dont think it is a platagyra. it has a one piece skeleton across the rock and then individual polyps with mouths. I have seen a section bleach here or there or even individual polyps die then come back.
I've had this coral since I got my first piece of live rock and I can tell you it has been through some rough times in multiple tanks. I was told maybe this is leptastrea
Got a bigger size (7in) but smaller micron filter bag, amazing difference in water clarity. Cycle has ended, nitrite now at 0 same with nitrates and Ph is at 8. Looking to move some stuff from the nano over today and go from there.. I do have to get new bulbs very soon
