rumored to show proof of Reefer Heresy in progress
Tank has cleared up so we are beginning to put together a future stock list of fish and inverts. Most likely going to have a bunch of SPS some LPS & maybe a select few soft corals when the time comes. We have a few snails, hermits, a Green...
tank has rock, sand and salt water. circulating now to clear the haze. thanks to Terrri, Ant and Joe for the help... Rumor has it there is quite the video floating around.
Well under way. hoping tomorrow will see rock, sand and water to start the cycle.

Looks like i'll be keeping my Es-hopps sump as a spare and buying the Protean 400 deluxe* (* comes w/ let, tom, onion). I tried to figure out a way to use the OC-3 but the stand is too small to ever be able to get a skimmer in or out of it once the tank is setup.
Stand has been sanded, we are just trying to figure out where exactly to set the tank up in the house and i washed down the tank. My big issue right now is trying to figure out what to do about a sump.. I have the tank off so i can get a bigger sump that would not fit through the side of the...
Stand is getting sanded and painted tomorrow, tank gets a vinegar bath. looking to have the tank ready for rock by tuesday, unknown when sand and water at this point...
I dont know that I would call it easy street exactly. Youll be changing more water but less frequently. Depending on your corals of choice that will alter your feeding/maintence schedule. The big thing with starting a bigger tank is watching for pests.
A nano has less rock so you are inclined...
the aspirating bubble blaster yes. I should have been more specific and said the bubble blaster HY-7000 for example.

I was suprised at the amount of up keep for a nano. The quanity of supplies used is alot smaller but I had alot less maintnence to do with the 220gal display with 400gals total including sump and refuge

I did o a bunch of water changes, used phosguard and new ROX carbon with a MJ900...... on that note I am not a Nano person, the bigger the better and I will be trying to salvage a couple corals and the fish from this tank back into the 120.. look for this to be up for sale soon.
Have to stop n see it this weekend. Hoping to have the tank and rock setup ready for water, if you get that skimmer sold we could move a little faster......

Since stopping over to Terri and Ant's and seeing their new cube, I just gotta set up my 120 again. I figured I would go ahead and start a new thread for the Re-Build in the New House...

My update to this tank is it has pretty much been ignored for the last 6 months. We've got a couple hermits and snails still kickin as well as our sole Chromis. Still have Orange Zoas, green and brown Polyps, Green mushrooms, red mushrooms and my SPS rock that has been to hell and back is doing...
Willing to meet within reason. more to list later.
the original MSX250 Skimmer from Salt Water Connection with dual Sicce, both piwheels and mesh wheels inluded. used this on a 400 gal system with no problems and also housed in one side of a 75RR, 13x14 dimensions & needs to sit in 8-10 inches...
