Hope this doesn't complicate things but I've been poking around a little on Ka Reactors and found this on ebay. Best price I've been able to find so far and shipping seems reasonable. Not sure how reliable the guy is of course...

Phyl: One more newby question...ok probably not the last one. With such a high evaporation rate how does the Kalk reactor keep up. The ones I see seem to hold less than what you lose each day. How often do you have to feed the Kalk reactor and how do you have it hooked up? Thank god I joined...

That's an Odyssea fixture. There is a GIANT thread about them on Reef Central. Some liked it some changed bulbs and or ballasts before they thought it was any good. I took a chance and bought the 48 inch version. Definately not a high quality fixture but lots of watts for the bucks.

Hey all. This is a current auction on ebay. Looks like a cool reactor and I placed a bid on it. I was outbid and I'm not sure if I should go any higher cause it looks like overkill for my new and still cyclying 120gal. Actually I'm not even sure if it is a good reactor - I'm a newbie remember...

Liverockandmore.com has some great prices on cerith and narcisus snails but I'm not sure what species they are. Has anyone tried them?
