Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I had two bulbs burn out a few weeks ago so I purchased all new bulbs and got them up and running this week. I have six T5s running on two Icecap 660 ballasts - three on each ballast. The lights will not stay on unless all three bulbs are working for each ballast. I woke up Friday to find that...
We use it both at home and at both of my jobs. I can support all 40 machines from the comfort of my home just like I was there! Love, love, love it way more than gotomypc. We purchased Logmein ignition so that I don't even have to go to the website. It's a little program that password locked on...
If you really want a tang, why don't you QT him in a hyposalininity environment? I've done that with all of my tangs and I've had absolutely no problems -- ich problems, that is. It's a long, tedious task, but I think it was well worth it.
I'll take the last chaeto if it's still available. How much for the candy cane frags? And do you still have those maroon clowns -- or did they find a home.
I could pick up Saturday morning -- around 10ish?

Over the past week I've lost most of my fish - Every other day one of them is just GONE! Parameters are fine, they all look very healthy when I go to bed and they're gone in the morning. I'm assuming it's my two 14" brittle stars.
So today I went on a starhunt, destroyed my aquascaping and am...
I have found that if I go to the front counter someone will always help me very quickly. The people you see running around the tanks are usually helping other customers. Last time I was there the manager told me that that was usually the best way to get help.
I had a purple one that was about that size - not quite as tall. It grew from a 1" square frag to that size in 2 years. My green monti is currently 8" across and about 4" tall at the moment - grew it from a 1" square in almost a year.
I strive to do 10% each week and probably manage 10% every 3-4 weeks. My tank does ok. It does tend to look better if I do regular weekly changes as I tend to overfeed and my nitrates and PO4 creep up if I don't do regular changes.
The colony was about the size of a baseball, maybe larger. I grew it from a 1" frag that I put in the tank last October.. Thanks for the frag offer - - I may pick one up from Steve this weekend.
It's very strange as everything else looks fantastic - my mushrooms aren't quite as open as they...
So, last week I leave in the morning after spending the usual five minutes of staring at it. Everything looked fine except for one of the brances of my Bird's Nest had a white tip on it. I thought that was weird and figured I'd look into it when I got home. I arrived home 8 hours later to find...
I would use the suggestions on the their website for tank size. If you get a magnet toooo large it will have a huge pull through the glass and be more difficult to move. I'm not sure that a one size step up would be a problem, but I'm pretty sure that a two size step up would be!
Re: 2008 Meeting Schedule
I'd love to do a north meeting next year but my house is definitely waaaaay too small to host a meeting the size that they have been recently. I know there are Bergen County people other than me! I have one of the smallest homes in Bergen, someone has to have a home...
I also have a Hammerhead -- I love it. It takes off coralline if you get it when it's first starting. I clean my glass every 2-4 days with it and it's fantastic. I purchase replacement pads every 6 months or so.
I read up on flat worms. I don't think that's what they were, either. Mine were perfectly oval not the shape that I see on line. The colt is totally dead so I'll do a big water change and see what's what.
