You would be surprise how far a Maxijet 1200 can send the water. My 55 gal R/O drum is on the floor and 20 ft away from the sump, so it goes up 6 ft and over 20 ft and back down and still has no problems filling the sump when the ATO kickes in.

Re: Salinity way to high Your tank inhabitants have been used to that high salinity for awhile, there is no overiding reason to reduce it quickly, (an actually doing it fast can bring on a host of problems). Just bring it down over a couple of weeks by doing water changes with a lower salinity...

A fresh batch of water made with Reef Crystals to a 1.026 salinity (as measured with a reflactomoeter) with come out as: CA: 420-440 ALK: 11-12 DKH MG: 1250-1380 The above is pretty standard and a known #'s for Reef Crystals.

Re: AGA 120 (very few pictures and lots of dull writing) Something is really wrong there if your RODI unit is plumbed right. Most membranes can remove at least 96%, and a lot get 98% (based on a 75 GPD membrane and correct flow restrictor), you should be getting around 20 after RO.

You aren't going to fix that problem, the Koralia are not made to be put on a wavemaker. The sound you hear is the prop starting up and being kicked into turning the right direction.

Actually, carbon's job is to remove Clorine as Clorine will destroy the membrane. Since Clorine will not show up with a TDS meter, it is recommended that it be replaced at least every 6 months.
