Anyone have this sand? it's a killer price. $99 for 160lbs shipped but what is it like? it it too fine or just right? I currently have the Fine OoLite sand that gets blown around like crazy and burrowers or sand sifters forget it.. when i move the tank i want to switch out the sand bed any...

i dont think it's too much light. i would rather have the bad stuff grow in the fuge then in the DT. you could probably get away with one of those lights instead of two. personally i'm thinking of a 6500k MH setup low wattage for my new fuge to grow mangroves.

I have all my reef equipment on GFI's and never have had them pop

bergia's sp? are suppose to do the trick. There was a reef keeping article on them.

heard of palys doing this and regaining their color. i would say if they are healthy enough to sprout some new polyps they should recover fully

face seal? i use marineland submersible and have one in each overflow with no problems. the only thing is that with no heaters in the main tank if you lose flow the tank could get cold. but you'll have warm overflows :P
