I use 2 15" NO Fluorecsents w/ 5500 bulbs I found at Lowes over my 10 gallon Fuge and can grow Cheato very fast. Totol cost was about $35. Yrs. ago I tried those Lights of America CF's on a 150 FW setup and found them to fail on a regular basis. After replacing 4 of them I gave up on them.

I had a tank with a Clown, Humma Humma and Niger Trigger along with a Lunnare Wrasse, Porcupine Puffer and a Snowflake Moray. I could NOT put my hand in the tank to do anything! They recognized anything that went into the tank as food.

Do you have room for an external return pump? You could add a baffle to the last chamber, then drill the sump for a bulkhead fitting that runs to an external return pump.

Yes they are visisble, but the pics are too small for me to figure out what they are.

They are red "X's" in a box, definately not reef safe and are very specialized feeders, nearly impossible to keep alive in captivity. ;D

I have read many posts about X-10's not working with MH ballasts. I have absolutly NO knowlegde of how X-10's work, but have a question/suggestion. Could you use the X-10 to trigger a relay to power up the ballast and not get the interferance that causes the problems?
