    another question. Going to use both holes in the overflows as drains. That will give me two 1" and two 3/4". somewhere i remember seeing how many gallons this would drain down to the sump but can't remeember where. Will a 1 1/2" drain line be big enough or do i need to go up to a 2"?

    Looking to put a fan in my hood. didn't have one before. Think that is why i had problems with the end caps melting. Need something ulta quite as the tank is in the kitchen and don't want to put up with the noise, thats why i didn't put a fan in before. any ideas on a good fan

    Amonia levels are down to zero :D Nitrates are up to 40. things are moving along with curing the rock. Hope to move the tank in this weekend and start working on the plumping. Could not free up the sequence pump so had to order a new Barracuda. Should be here monday or tuesday. Need to get this...

    Thanks Rich. The great salt debate lives on. Guess that hasn't changed. I think i'm going to go to Hidden Reef. Sounds like they will have the best deal on salt

    long time member is an understatement. Founding member i believe. At least its formal organization. Anyway i have used Kents with a good deal of success so that is likly what i will stick with.
