thats what im leaning towards now is a temp issue. its a nano, so it goes from 75 to 81 in ohhh say..........i dunno 3 minutes! small tanks really suck. if i knew i needed a chiller i woulda started up my 75 gallon, instead i just throw in the same amount of money into a 24 that looks like $@*T....

dip the rock in saltwater thats 1040.anything on the rock thats alive will shoot out and you can wrangle it up. thats what we used to do where i used to work. if you listen to your tank at night you can hear them "clicking"...wich is actually them boring holes inside your rock

those purple lobsters really wont bother your fish, especially if you target feed him a silverside or something once or twice a week. they are cool lookin and hide alot
