When the PC fixture is turned on the base of the bulb flashes but never completely lights up. Last night I put my old bulb back and it lite right up. SO I assume it is a problem with the new bulb
I have a 2x250w hqi/mh with dual 96w pc actinics (SP) I just changed the pc's (less than a week ago) and they were working fine until last night the rear bulb was out. I check if it was a loos connection but it was fine. The bulb wants to fire up but never lights. Is this a bad bulb or a bad...
Can anyone help me in setting this up. I bought a used one and don't have directions. The directions on-line are not so good. Also, I want to try to set this up with a pump feed and not a gravity y feed, is this a good idea?
Thanks
I have been using the Zilla Dual Analog Power Center

Re: Help with Satndpipe/Bulkhead isssue
It is a slip and it is the bulkhead that came with the tank. (bought it used) The pipe does not want to go all the way down. I hope I don't have to change the bulkhead???
One of my standpipes will not sit tight in to the bulkhead. (of course I find this out after I fill the tank with water) When I turn on my return pump the pipe pops out of the bulkhead. I think that maybe the pipe from the bottom of the bulkhead to the sump may be to high into the bulkhead not...

That make a lot of sense. I use a Ranco Temp Controller on my 55 to control a fan over my sump. Seams my tank is pron to being hot as opposed to cold?

Thanks again

I am upgrading my 55 to a 140 I bought an extra 100# of cured rock which has been sitting in a tub in my garage. I have filled the 140 half way and was thinking of adding the new rock to the tank tonight and leave a power head on for circulation. I figure it will be the same as being in the tub...
Ok so I am upgrading my 55 to a 140 and I have the tank half filled I wanted to get the temp up about 5-10 degrees so I can but the LR in but did not have a large enough heater yet so I added a small (rated for 10 Gal) heater to the tank that I use for my water changes and low and behold my temp...
yes my wife likes it cool. The tank is a 140 that is half full as I am upgrading from a 55. I just put a small heater in that I use for my water change bucket to see if I can get the temp up to 75.
