Re: Ricwilli's 210 build Pressure is always a constant, it doesn't change based on the pipe size. For example a house with a 1" water line and 1/2" lines, the pressure always is the same on both lines. Basically the larger size just creates more load that the pump has to fight.

Re: Ricwilli's 210 build I agree with adding some cross beams. That way you could hold the top off water weight. You don't want it toppling forward onto the tank. Everything is looking good though.

I can't just order one bulb of any type. I have to order a box qty which is usually 10 or 12. (around $5-600 a box) So unless people will commit to a box qty I won't be getting bulbs in anymore. It was too much money upfront.

Well I have seen them lay on their side sort of under a rock ledge. I would still think he would have come out a little. Have you tried feeding the tank to lure him out? He might have died though so I would still check unless you have a cleanup crew that would have eaten him.

Did you Qt the fish and do a fw dip? I have never lost a fish from them yet. I usually wait for a few days before I buy the fish I want from them so I make sure it is eating and looks ok. (A benefit of being right near by) I haven't seen dead fish in the tanks since I have been going there...

I would be pulling out rocks at that point. They can hide under rocks, so I would look carefully.

I am not sure, I have never used the phoenix bulbs. I can say they put out a nice white color. I have been pretty happy with them on my tank.
