Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Romanhawk - are you still taking a torch? If not and there's one still available, I'd be interested in whichever one Salted is passing on.
MaximusReef - if you have one left to sell me, let me know and I can send payment. I'd want to pickup at SeaLevel as well - can coordinate to meet up with...
Not all vendors are insane with the pricing... I bought a bunch of fish from Salgado today and they had almost all the fish that you listed for significantly cheaper. Yellow tangs for $50, tomini tang for $35, blue eyed kole for $35, blue hippos for $40, yellow coris for $30. I bought leopard...
Looks awesome and can't wait to see what you do with it. Just in time for the holidays! BTW, what happened to that used tank you were buying from southern NJ?
You should purchase Raptor's Waterbox 80.4 system. That's a smoking deal for that tank including all the equipment he's including. I'd be all over it but I'm pretty sure it would be the end of my marriage...
Should be fine. Those fish and corals are all pretty hardy. Even after dumping the RO in, it’s unlikely that the salinity dropped out of the acceptable range for the fish. I find that the salinity doesn’t drop nearly as much as I think it would even adding RO to a small tank.
Are you sure about that?
The description of AB+ is "an organic complex of dissolved and suspended simple building blocks of carbohydrates, amino acids, fatty acids, and vitamins."

Poetic Injustice - I'm making a drive down there, likely on Saturday, to pick up from Raptor. I can pick up for you. I live in Florham Park so you can swing by and grab from me afterwards. Just settle up with Raptor.
Many LFS keep their fish at low dose copper which is enough to suppress ich and velvet. This keeps the fish appearing relatively healthy. However, these doses aren't therapeutic enough to kill the parasites completely, resulting in the reemergence of ich and/or velvet when they're removed from...
Yep, I know they have new hours since COVID. But definitely there was a Saturday and a Sunday afternoon in the past 6 months where I either showed up and it was closed or I couldn't get through to anyone on the phone. I asked Will about it once and he said something came up. I respect that he...
I do like going to Aquatic Obsessions but I live about 40 minutes away. My only warning would be that his hours can be irregular at times. I've stopped by at least twice on weekend afternoons to find that he wasn't open (even when it was during posted store hours). On two other afternoons, I...
It may be 99.9% survival for you or I, but we all have people in our lives for which it's not a 99.9% survival rate. Besides that, surviving is only one part of this. We're only now getting to know what sort of long-term problems people who recover may experience. And frankly, even if you're not...
When Triton tells you what to do, is it something that has to be done through their Triton reagents? I'm not running Triton method, so just wondering if the info will still be useable for me.
