Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I've tried many brands over the years, and all seem to work well. But, none worked any better than Reef Crystals, so I didn't see any reason to pay the extra premium. And, it's hard to beat 200 Gal boxes @ $49.00 delivered to your front door.
It's best to wear gloves(which I don't), but I wash my hands thoroughly before and after doing anything in the tank, using an antibacterial hand soap, that comes in a pump dispenser.
Here's a good reason to be very careful:

No, I'll be out of town that day. I still have a piece of the Purple Nana for you too. I also need to get a piece of Strawberry Shortcake to Sunny also. I'll see if I can find someone who might be going to the meeting and willing to do the delivery.

I run two Tunze 6065's (non-controllable) on two hour on/off cycles, and two Tunze 6025's for flow behind and through my rock work 24/7. I've been using them for years without a problem. I like the fact that I can direct the flow anywhere I want it, since I have a DSB, it's directed toward the...
