Yeah that’s what I’m afraid of. I don’t want to stress it out over the long term in a tank that might not have e enough swimming room.

I haven’t tried that but I am curious about it as well. My plan would be to either get one regal angel, or do a multi and a venustus like you were thinking. I think it would be crucial to get them in the same tank together young. Also, what’s everyone’s opinion about putting a regal in a 90...

I saw that guy over there too but as he was a misbar, and a little more pricey, I just couldn’t pull the trigger. But I have been thinking about him ever since lol. I also just wanted some more info on how those CB guys were doing since it’s a big investment.

Anyone have one of these? I’m curious to see how they do longer term, how the color up etc.. Are they yellow belly or gray variety? How long do they take to grow? Pictures welcome!

What type of LED would you recommend? The tank is 24” tall but I’m worried about the lights being too focused lower in the tank with LEDs being mounted so close.

Forgot to mention the tank will be mostly softies and low light corals…thanks.

If you had to mount lights close to the water level (several inches off the water) due to the canopy, which lights would you use and why?

If you are using RODI, it is my understanding that only two teaspoons per gallon will dissolve. If you add any more, the extra will just fall to the bottom. The only way dissolve more would be to add vinegar to the mix. But that may do other things to your tank that you don’t want.

I use RC but thinking about switching to Fritz RPM since it’s not too expensive but mixes at a lower dkh. Anyone have any experience?

I have a reefer 170 (23x20x20) and I was wondering what everyone thinks for flow, one gyre like the reefwave 25, or two powerheads like the Nero 3s, if I can find them.
