My tank is mostly LPS so my demand is not terrible. I was thinking instead of going through my top off, dripping it 24/7 eliminating waiting for evaporation. I could install an airline tube with a drip valve a few inches from the bottom of a clear plastic jug. Just wondering if this would work?

Two things I think are worth mentioning. I built a little stand for the sump to make for easy siphoning. Also, a slight mod on the skimmer. I cut the pipe that goes to the gate valve. The bottom of the output is slightly submerged.
