    Feather duster?

    Harmless filter feeder.

Xenia dont open once in a while?

It is VERY common/natural for the corals to all close up when the lights go off. If you're using a timer it is even more likely because they know when it is going to get dark.

    90g extravaganza

+1 on those not being the legs! Those shrooms in the last picture are crazy!

Exposing anemone outside of the tank

It will climb up higher if it isn't able to expand and be happy. That said I've taken nem's out of the water when necessary to get them off of rock and they've always done just fine, even though the chopping, chiseling and hammering.

    hydnophora- will it grow?

Green would probably do fine, even with stock light. It isn't a very demanding coral, IME. No offense intended, but I can't believe anyone would sell hydno frags that small.

    Hike

Way cool. I know someone who did a week long hike around here on the trail. Oh to be able to take 5mo to do that without thinking twice. Glad you grabbed the opportunity when it presented itself! Congrats on such a huge accomplishment. Looks like a fun group. Glad you had company. The prospect...

    tunze help?

When my driver was beeping it was because the pump was in need of service. Contact Roger and describe the symptoms to him and find out what he recommends. They do a fairly quick turnaround on their equipment. To keep them working well with less service required it is best to clean them...

should i still buy this coral?

There's just some stuff like bryopsis that seems to be able to make hay even under the most pristine of circumstances. I'm not sure I would put something with bryopsis into my tank and take the chance... Otherwise I agree with X.

    Rod's Food

Yes, it goes in the freezer, but I'd be on the phone with MD to complain. We buy all of our fz foods locally. Good luck with the angel. I hope it finds something it likes!

    That's the size of a stock 90.

    law enforcement issues?

LOL! That's a riot. Can you imagine what our meter readers are thinking now?! And don't any of them think to report it?! That was WHITE light (I'm guessing). This blue spectrum must make some eyes roll for sure.

should i still buy this coral?

If you plan to re-mount the pom-pom I would try to make sure to carve a bit of the disk/plug as well so that you have something to glue. Leathers, softies and shrooms need to attach on their own (and there are many ways to accomplish this). Gluing to their flesh isn't an option.

    recession

What's your Mg level? Changing the carbon was probably a really good idea. Maybe your phosban too if you're running it. Not sure dipping them is going to solve the problem as it sounds like you either disturbed something or in some way cause a nutrient or chemical spike in the tank. Can you do a...

need help in suggestion of sandbed or no sandbed

2" or so is probably a good depth, I think 1" will not be quite enough. I'm not sure what I have on the outter thirds of the tank (the center is bare bottom/snail shell). I use a cuke to keep the sand clean. He does a great job!
