Congrats on the 55. Was my first choice with getting serious in this hobby. I bet if you really like it you will upgrade.lol. What is your coral of choice? Lps, sps, softies or a mix? Most start soft and after a while go to the sps side! FYI, I will be breaking my 55 down in the next 2 months...

I think they did change it. I used it as a primer for the inside of my stand and canopy. It started to crack and peel when I brought it In from the garage. I ended up using glidden exterior satin and no issues so far. Why glidden? Cause it's what I used on my house and I had left over.

I mean how big so your refugium section. Not more than 10-15 gal. Do you really need the equivilant of 100 watts? I highly doubt it. A 40 -60 watt equivalent would work fine and suck up less electricity. But if you want to spent the money on wasted electricity go for it. Lol
