i use a MSX250 from Marine Solutions with great results. This is on my 220 DT /75 Sump. it and the Octo's are pretty much the same but the MSX i think has the upper hand with a little different setup on the dual Sicce Pumps www.marinesolutionsinc.com

it shouldnt really do anything.. if the main tank is established already i bet you will hardly even notice any difference. the sand, if used before the expiration date is usually pretty good

I think it helps with the stress along with the 4 hour lights out that i do.I also feed the tank before they go in and use SeaChem Stress guard while dripping them

well i dunno if it was the salt or not because i also took my carbon off line since the cloudiness got worse when i turned it back on after the water change. I dumped that carbon and put in some i got from Bulk reef supply. The water was pretty clear today before so hopefully tomorrow it will be...

that is true. it's all about looks, they know nothing of blood but it's taste. The Sailfin was being a real jerk to the Yellow tangs because they look similar to him. i turned the lights back out a little early but havent had a chance to sit down and watch them today
