when i add fish to the DT anymore I keep the lights off for 4 hours maybe.. that way everyone scurries to their hiding spots and the new fish won't stressed as much. I would put him back near nighttime and cut your lights short a little, then let the normal lighting go in the morning

I ran out of IO so I decided to try out the Coral Pro from Red Sea. I'm using it with soft water, after the water conditioner no RO/DI setup yet. After letting it mix for a while i added it to the tank and overnight the tank is cloudy as could be. My KH is 12, Mag is 1300, Calcium 1300...

i think most kinds give you a general amount to start at and then you need to test after dosing to find your needed amount. I dose B-ionic on the 55

i guess arm wrestling with it is out of the question then?

how about dosing liquid calcium for the week? maybe put the amount needed in little bottles and have your sitter just dump them in one a day?

Honestly bax.. we have a pair of Skunks and pair of True Percs no problems in the 55.. actually the skunks got the percs to start hosting a nem. I think even though they are anemone fish they don't look anything alike so there is no inter-species aggression

no we dont make that kind for the pilings but docks/decking. i think the stuff you are talking about is almost like a tar is some cases. it's pretty nasty stuff i believe they use it on telephone poles as well

I know that alot of deck sealent does NOT use copper. I know this because we make the Water proofing liquid right here in NJ at DuPont. While it is probably toxic i doubt most out there has copper in it. Copper would be a poor choice anyway. there are no properties that make copper a good sealer...
