Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
For that you'd do best with a pressure rated pump. I would think you'd want 2000gph+ for what you're looking to do with it. Not sure what pump is best in that size that's ultra quiet.
They recommend the MJ606 to run the 2 PO4 reactors. As Billy suggested, you're going to want a faster pump for your CL than you're going to want running the PO4 reactors, unless your running the PO4s off of a manifold.
By CL are you looking for something to create additional flow in the tank...
Those of you who won freshly fragged corals, could you please post updates/pics of them? I'd like to see how they're all doing after the fragging and then traveling.
We've still got 2 of the pineapple frags here. They were the ones with the least amount of polyp on them after the fragging. The...
I'm looking for millis. Pink, blue, peach & green. I lost my collection a while back and finally think I'm ready to replace it.
Rich, I would also like a piece of your microthalma, if you still have some extra.
Billy's going to be looking to shed his tank soon, Bill. Now's your chance. It's going to sell for a *great* price.
I don't have any progress pics handy right now. I'll see what I can come up with.
Most frags, unless they are a specialty item or have super coloration, you'd sell for 10-15$ for a nice sized piece. Anything exotic or special would be priced according to market demand for it.
So give her a go, Brian! As long as you aren't turning them on and off in rapid fire succession you shouldn't impact their life much. We don't use the bulbs for their full "till they burn out" life anyway, and I doubt it will have a profound impact on their color spectrum change timing. Be great...
But you COULD use a 200mm macro lens to get close at a sporting event. The problem then would be that it isn't a zoom lens so it is "stuck" at 200 v. my 55-200.
HTH!
IME, you can't follow the directions or you risk creating a resistant strain. Then nothing you do will work. I've done massive superdosing (3-6x) and had no ill effects from it. This was a softie tank though, no SPS.
