Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Welcome to NJ! Glad you've found us. Sorry to hear about the loss of animals on your journey.
Lots of swapping going on at the meetings so keep an eye out for a meeting close to home. Each month the meetings are held in a different area of the state, in a member's home. January is North...
Renee is getting the details together for us for the January meeting. There'll be a thread as soon as we have it all together!
Ed, I was thinking the same thing about you being pretty central. I was going to peek at a map.
Unfortunately Central seems to span the bulk of the reefers in NJRC so...
Soup it is. The election has been closed for a few days now!
Congratulations Bill on running a tough, but admirable race.
I'm sure I speak for all of the club when I say that you are a great asset to NJRC and I'm proud to have you on our Board. Your unending dedication to the club has been a...
Re: NJRC Meeting Schedule: Still Looking for South Hosts!
We need a South host for the February meeting. If we don't get any volunteers by the January meeting we'll take you folks up on your offer to hold another meeting this year.
Mike, I know you said you'd hold a North meeting, but I'd like...
Those two were from www.ReeferMadness.us
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing them!
Now if the few hold-outs *cough*Steve68*cough*renee*cough* would get their pictures posted....
The NJRC Annual Holiday Bash was a smashing success! We had visitors from EchoTech, the VorTech folks, Andy from Ice Cap and our guest speaker, Sanjay, who missed his son's finals round football game yesterday to be in attendance! Big thanks to the Joshi family for sending him along on such an...
Yes, cash bar, but the drinks are cheap! We'll have sodas and water available as well that you won't have to go to the bar for.
Tentative Agenda
1:00 setup (Volunteers WELCOME)
2:00 people arrive (start last year's slide show if we have it)
3:00 food will be ready to eat
4:00 Sanjay speaks
6:00...
I can sense the anticipation! We're trying to get the images resized, uploaded and posted for you. It is taking a little longer than anticipated with all of the excitement this week (3 group buys closing and the holiday party looming).
Hang in there with us!
I would say that most people use the Milwalkee controller. There's a place in Lakewood that you can get your CO2 tank filled (John does it so I don't know their name nor the price). They typically swap the tank out rather than fill it. Again, how long it lasts depends a lot on the demand of your...
We've got our reservations for the Crowne for after the party. Anyone else staying there?
As far as what you can bring, I think last year we had folks bring desserts if they'd like. That would be great! We're firming up the menu and will post it later tonight.
They sound like flat worms. The best thing to do is to dose the tank with Flat Worm Exit. Try to siphon out as many as you can and then dose with 2-3x the recommended dose. Siphon them out as they're dying. They can be poisonous in high concentrations when dead. Alive they're just a nuisince.
