Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
It looks like you have some room on the left - and even on the right. Is it possible to shift the sump over?
I was thinking if you shift the sump over, you could set up an ATO and connect it to a small 5 gallon salt container and place it next to the sump. This would resolve the issue with the...

If you click on the vendor forum area here:

there's list of the sponsors that have forums on our board. Those with actual store fronts will have a sticky. Those that don't - you'll need to...
The whole idea with a pre-drilled tank is so that you can run a set up with a sump. A sump is just a pool of water where you can increase the total volume of water and also conveniently dump all your ugly equipment down there. Other adjustments are to include a refugium in the sump.
That...
I finally had time over the holiday to break open the third book in the series titled Reef Aquarium by sprung/delbeek.
in there I noticed they basically say do NOT run a titanium ground probe.
So I'd like to know what people are doing. I thought having one helped to eliminate electrical...
We've populated most of the vendor locations with sticky's in each vendor forum. Quite a few are online sponsors and have no physical location.
Which vendor in particular are you looking for?
why not just shut down the tunze and see if that resolves the bubbles. If not - then you know it's not the skimmer.
If you eliminate the skimmer as the potential issue - then the next thing to consider is if the return pump is somehow sucking air.
Another thought is if the overflow crashing...
I cannot comment on the fixture since I've never used it before- but if you hit the "enlarge" button on the pic - take a look at the bulbs - those are Compact Fluorescents...All CF's have the "bent-tube" shape. It affords the ability to produce a large amount of light in a small space...
Re: Specific Gravity way to high
Just a minor point which Bryan noted - the quotation of 1.026 is a known as specific gravity. Salinity is measured in ppt.
So you could say your salinity is 35ppt.
Or you could say your sg is 1.026.
anyways - good luck! no matter how you decide to resolve...
no experience...sorry. boozeman/pnoy have Bks....edward771 has the ORCA.
I recall at least one member loving deltecs.
anyways - skimmer opinions are going to vary. I heard good things about the ATI Bm - not sure if anyone actually runs on here on njrc (i'm sure there's someone)
price sounds...

everyone has different ideas but one suggestion might be an aqua c remora pro (hang on the back) or even the Aqua c urchin - which should be small enough to fit the sump.
cool! will be following your thread.
I bought my 120 from AqOb and I thought that was big. LOL. Glad you had a car/truck big enough to haul that.
In terms of the powerheads - you could also choose a third option which would be an external pump hooked into a closed loop.
But if it were me -...
Mike - most folks place their location when creating their user id. I'm not sure if this is a feature limited to members or not - but if you click on the userid - (if a person populated it) - it will show location.
