Water is in a 35g drum and a 32g brute waiting for me to finish the plumbing. Depending on work I should have water running by the weekend.

Thanks again kyle. I was trying to go with less rock. I feel like my past tanks were just stuffed with it and I really wanted some open space in the new tank.

Yea man getting close! I think I finalize the aquascape, I'll try to get pictures tonight. I have a little more than half the water made up and some of the plumbing done. Hopefully I can finish it up tonight. I really hope to have things up and running by the weekend.

Here's some "rough" aquascaping. I like the left side much better with the branch rock. Still not sure about the right. Going to tweak it some more a little later on. Sometimes it's better to walk away when I get frustrated and come back with a clear mind a little later.

Thanks guys! Thanks jim. Unfortunately that is the only spot I can put the tank. The blinds are pretty good at keeping the light out and I may put some window tint on the windows to prevent the light coming in some more. My previous tank was there as well without any real issues.

+2 for not reusing the old sand. Sand is relatively inexpensive compared to what could be lost reusing the old stuff.

Picked up the light hangers today and installed them when I got finished with work. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. Now I have to make up my mind on whether or not to paint them or leave them unfinished. They are aluminum so should be fine unfinished. I think I like the look...
