    Kschweers rebuild. 57g rimless

Everything has settled out in the tank and it's looking nice and clear. Still need to plumb in my skimmer and reactors. Hopefully tomorrow. I also plan to make a matching small cabinet for the side of the tank to house all of the electrical. Please don't mind the wires all over. I plan to...

iTzJu's 80 Gallon Lagoon Display Tank Build

Lol. At first I was thinking to myself "I thought this thing would move more water" as it was coming up to speed. Once it was up to speed I had to slow it to the second setting. Should be able to turn it up when I put my skimmer and reactors online.

iTzJu's 80 Gallon Lagoon Display Tank Build

+1. One if the quietest pumps I have used. Would not have know it was running if I didn't see the water moving.

    Kschweers rebuild. 57g rimless

Any restriction seems pretty minimal. The pump is a bit over powered to begin with so it's really not too noticeable. It's an adjustable pump with 6 speed adjustments. Right now it's only on the second level. I wanted to keep the stand nice and open not too obstructed with plumbing to do...

    Kschweers rebuild. 57g rimless

We have water! Finished up the plumbing after work today, added the sand and pumped in the water. I'm really happy to have it up and running finally. Tomorrow if I find time I will plumb in the skimmer and reactors. Now it's time to sit back and wait for it to cycle.

    DIY stand

Not positive what the op used but I have used google sketchup in the past. A little hard to use until you get used to it.

    frag glue

I usually use the ecotech glue. If you keep the top capped and store it in the refrigerator it lasts much longer in my experience.

    King Brothers

+1 for slip fittings and unions. The unions may be a bit more costly up front but in the long run you will be happy they are there.
