Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I would think there are lots of answers to those questions.
I have had mine setup since last October when I knew I was doing the first real stocking of the tank.
I do water changes from the DT yes is it a great idea? Donknow
After the next fish my QT is getting torn down unless I think I will...
Bare bottom tank. You can put the sponge in your DT sump to accumulate helpful bacteria. I suppose the whisper filter will work if you want to use it just make sure you keep the media you use super clean.
Well maybe it would be overkill....most of the nano's are pretty crummy....your idea of getting a octopus or some similar HOB skimmer is a good one. More then you need yes, actually works yes, usable when you upgrade yes ;D.
Doing diligent goodsized water changes would be another solution.
Well the controllers are usually just the controller and sometimes they come with the temp probe.
So there are lots of add ons PH probe, outlets like the DC 4 and DC 8 for the ACjr., computer cables, break out boxes so you hook them to alarms ect. I am not an expert honestly I have a couple days...
You made a mention of one lighting source that I have not found that much about.

Hello,
If anyone lives close to pnoyreefer(Steve), Washington NJ 07882, he is holding a coral for me. If you could pick it up for the meeting I would greatly appreciate it. When it gets to fragging size I will gladly give you the first frag.
I agree do minimum 30% changes up to 50% if you can pull it off..heck if you have a canister filter run that too with carbon. Clean daily. Corals that look like no way they come back will. Two examples that I had, a frogspawn that I cooked has come back to almost normal(long recovery), pulsing...
Well I temporarily solved my problem..waited till the lights went out and moved some things around. All sticks are on one side hill...RBTA on the other. Looks like the RBTA has settled in hopefully for a nice while. Our clown has been sniffing around maybe it will start to host one of these...
I assume the basket starfish was a joke because they are really hard to keep.
Was reading in one of the more recent TFH on inverts and the guy really liked the lobsters :-\, calling them safer then a lot of others.
I can try later to get the article for you or bring it to you Saturday/before.
Sorry I didn't see this before. Actually being double insured(except in case of dental as mentioned before) can actually be somewhat dangerous. I have read on line of someone going in for a procedure and they accepted the wrong insurance, the one that should have been used(based on birthdays of...

Is one of our sponsors ... they run their website from home in Toms River, thus if you pick up you can save shipping their prices are pretty good. PA also is great and is a sponsor.
Couple of choices for you.
I bought mine at AO...so the answer is yes ... I am sure the other LFS have it too. I usually just add a few drops when I open the little plastic cubes as they thaw.
If you just add another K2 you can sort of crash them into one another flow wise to create more turbulance since they are not controllable. That is what I would do(did) for what it is worth.
And I agree with all the stuff Bill said too.
