primer...that's right...it's been like 4 years since i used the stuff...lol. Thanks for the tip. I think phyl mentioned that there was a clear primer that could be used-so the pvc pipes wouldn't show purple everywhere. Anyways- the set up is nice. If it were me there'd be purple gobs everywhere! ;D
just keep in mind an anemone is an animal and may decide to up and move a sting all the corals along the way. In larger tanks this is less of an issue- with a 29 u just have to realize this possibility (or it moving into a PH). Not sure what clown u r interested in or what anemone -but a couple...
Here is David's (malalu) solution:

It will still allow some light to penetrate...in my old aga I put a small piece of styrofoam to block the light so the algae could not grow.
I signed in once a long long time ago and never had to do that again on my home pc. Are you deleting all the cookies in your browser daily? Check your security settings.

Nice!!!
Hey do you have a pic of your overflow? wondering if you have something covering them and the goby still managed to get thru? Have you ever seen (i think) malalu's DIY covers?
That's an interesting deal but I would caution anyone from getting 80 hermits in a so called cleaner package. I know mike says he has 80 but to me it's way too many. I have never heard of a "cone" shell being in an pack unless we're talking about the venomous cone snail. Big ones can kill or at...
sometimes a fish may feel more comfortable with reef fish that are mid-water zooplankton feeder types - (e.g. chromis/anthias) - since they look for those fish to be out and about before coming out. There's a term for these types of fish which eludes me right now.
However if that is not...
Another alternative (aren't there always options in this hobby?):
I have used the tunze osmolator...though when i got it - it wasn't as expensive as it is these days (you can blame the weak dollar and that it is manufactured in europe). Anyways - I have never used the two float switches -...
Greg - thought just passed thru my head and I was wondering if you had downloaded anything unusual lately? It's possible some spyware was placed on your pc- and based on your surfing habits they were able to send reef specific spam. Just a thought.
ugh - sorry to hear. I do give you a big thumbs up for asking before jumping the gun. Any board you go to is littered with the deaths of countless fish from owners who purchased them first only to find they could not maintain the diet/no idea what kind of fish it was etc.
I myself am looking...
baxreef had to banish his frogspawn - it had grown huge and was stinging his other corals. He even posted a video on his tale of the tank of the fs sending out tendrils / sweepers at night!
I guess the good news though is that your fs is growing rapidly!
OY! Sorry to hear that.... :'(
I personally have never heard of triggers to be predisposed to carpet surfing- but i'm not at all familiar with them. ::)
wait - you said you have a cpr cs50 - isn't that an HOB overflow? Well anyway if an hob skimmer messes around with your side viewing then perhaps that isn't the answer.
With regards to the return pump - davek pretty much summed it up. Good luck!
LOL.
Actually - if hobbyists were to conscientiously make the decision to always purchase aquacultured items - eventually the market will drive the costs down as more competitors seek to enter the market.
Take for example the cheap prices one sees for Seahorses that are wild caught. by...
