"If you have $ for a new tank then you should have $ to add a new bathroom" Wife

Hey Matt, I was in the garage last night after work and I saw the screen netting and instantly realized that I forgot to give you some for the pod condos last weekend. Next time you're in the neighborhood or heading to Aquarium Center, give me a ring and you can have some. Hope the frags and...

    Moving I have 2 options?

I can see pros and cons with either choice. Method A Pros - Plenty of time to cure the new rock and be sure it's ready, minimal cycle once you move it. Cons - Have to keep feeding it, run power heads/heaters/skimmer/etc, and continue water changes throughout... sort of a waste of time/money...

I have no idea why cold water makes a rodi slower but it does for all of them. I've heard that a way to combat this problem is to have anextra length if intake tubing coiled up inside a bucket of water with a heater in it. As the water travels through the tubing it gets warmed by the warmed...

    First Hello..

Hello and welcome to NJRC Rob! Depending on the size of your tank, it could just be the fact that the clam likes that particular spot in terms of flow and lighting. Have you tried moving the frogspawn to another location to see if the clam moves toward it instead of it's current favorite spot...

    Mystery of the missing tang

Tang police There's a small possibility it's just hiding in the rocks still Dave. Sometimes they tend to stay in a spot once they find a safe one just to "claim" it as their own. If the new did get it, that would be a shame though. Especially since your upgrade was riding on it. Good luck.

    Mag drive

If you're just replacing the cover, I'd say it probably doesn't matter which version you originally had. The screw holes will line up whichever you use.
