PAULSBORO New Jersey Train Derailment: Bridge Collapse Sends Chemical Cars Into Creek

I wonder if Sandy had anything to do with weakening it?

PAULSBORO New Jersey Train Derailment: Bridge Collapse Sends Chemical Cars Into Creek

Wow, that could be bad for any fish living in Mantua Creek too. Stay safe gang!

    Checkout the Peppermint angelfish

That would be the Abe's Angelfish. Did anyone else notice that cool light blue tang with the orange marking? It was swimming right over his shoulder at about 1:25 into the vid. Anyone know what that one is called?

    TanksNStuff's 75G to 120G Upgrade

Yea, the factory stand that came with the tank was basically a 3/4" plywood shell, so I'm pretty sure this 2x4 design will be more than strong enough.

    14 gallon biocube frag tank

If you have some spare egg crate laying around, you could always just make a media basket yourself. All you need is some super glue or some zip ties and make something like this (not mine, I just googled it). You can obviously just size it to your needs:

Will not be back for a bit

Sorry Meg. Get you and your family squared away and then let us know when you're ready to get the reef going again. Stay strong!

    TanksNStuff's 75G to 120G Upgrade

Yea, I already considered that when I started planning the frame. The extra 2x4s that I add will be vertical, between the top/bottom frames, and be on the outside of the 24" sides. They will squeeze in on the left/right sides, right at my pencil marks in this pic, so that won't interfere with...

    TanksNStuff's 75G to 120G Upgrade

Thanks Paul. The design I used didn't show those extra posts on the corners, but I could easily add them in just to be safe. Also, looking at yours versus mine, I noticed that I didn't add the one cross brace in the center. I knew I had an extra piece of wood cut for some reason. :o I'll add...

    My new 75 build

Thanks Dan! Those closeups help alot and now I'm positive I'm going to use those. I may stop by some time to check out your tank anyway. I have relatives in Cherry Hill and am near Maple Shade pretty often. I just looked on the HD website and they have shorter ones for like $8 each. I figured 4...

    TanksNStuff's 75G to 120G Upgrade

Thanks everyone. I hope it turns out looking as nice as the one I'm basing it off of, lol. John, I've borrowed almost all of my ideas, so feel free to do the same. ;) I haven't had a chance to do anything more yet due to the weather. However, I am reconsidering the "magnet" idea for the stand...

It began with a new sump..

Looks good Chris. That rail looks very well made. FYI, if you want to test your leds before you get the controller... you can just plug the power cords in then use a 9v battery as your dimmer signal. You may need to strip one end of an old ethernet cable to get to the wires, but a 9v will...

    kevin's 50g to 75g upgrade !

I tried to check out the webcam, but the UN/PW didn't work. No error messages or anything... but when I hit OK, the password disappears and the login screen just hangs. As far as an ATO container, this is what I use and find it to be perfect...

    My new 75 build

Looks really great Dan! Awesome job on the stand. I'm planning to do something similar on my new 120g build I'm working on. I was thinking of using magnets to attach the front panel, but I think I like that "track" idea you have better. It looks really simple to install. Where did you get...

    TanksNStuff's 75G to 120G Upgrade

Now, here's my progress so far. I did this all by myself, except for when I attached the vertical posts where my wife held them steady while I drilled/screwed them in. I meant to take pics at different stages (top frame, bottom frame, post installation, etc.) but I was on a roll and forgot to...

    TanksNStuff's 75G to 120G Upgrade

A couple months ago, I got a good deal on a 120g tank/stand which was the perfect size I was looking for. My current 75g tank is 48x18x21 and it's displayed right next to a half-wall, between the family room and the dining room. As such, it's viewable on 3 sides and the single corner overflow is...
