Yes Don, I believe that's the most common cause of the electrical fires... moisture in outlets. It's probably a good idea to unplug everything and turn off all light switches, or better yet, throw the main breaker if you're not going to be home when it comes back on.

Walmart, Target, K-Mart, and just about any sporting goods store should have them in the fishing departments. They usually come with bait buckets or styrofoam coolers to help keep your catches alive... but will work just fine for your tank. Good luck Ryan.

Steve, you can try any computer or electronics store near you. Best Buy, Staples, Office Max, mom & pop computer shops, Costco, BJ's whole sale outlets, Walmarts, Targets... any number of those might have a power adapter that might work. Good luck.

I'm glad the family is safe too Kevin... but looking at the current tank pic... some of the stuff on the bottom/front looks like it still has some color. I wouldn't write that all off just yet. Do a big water change and get temps back to normal and see if they recover.
