Agree 100%. I go crazy when I hear songs repeat every hour on some stations... but if I had to watch/listen to that all the time I'd go NUTS!!!
Very cool what he was able to do though. I give him credit for the creativity and ability to sync the music and lights like that.

As for thermometers, I just use a coralife digital, and I had two that were both different, so not sure which is correct. I kept the one that was closest to what my heater setting was on...
Yea, they suck in the water and blow up like balloons. They will also have stages where they release all the water and shrink up real tiny. Don't let that worry you too much. It's part of their natural feeding process.
Yea, I'd see how it goes without making any cuts. If you're not happy with the performance and can't raise the skimmer any more, then you can cut the baffle down.
This may require you taking the whole baffle out, cutting it down, then re-installing it... so your sump will be offline while you...
Nice job on the holes. The only suggestion I'd make for future drilling would be to place a towel or something inside the tank to cushion the falling cutout disk. I couldn't tell if you did that or not, but it didn't look like it. I've heard people having problems where the falling disk...
