    Halloween

Agree 100%. I go crazy when I hear songs repeat every hour on some stations... but if I had to watch/listen to that all the time I'd go NUTS!!! Very cool what he was able to do though. I give him credit for the creativity and ability to sync the music and lights like that.

    What are these...???

Still not sure what these are, maybe a petrified shell as James said. I think Phil's idea that maybe they were in your bag of sand sound's the most logical as to how they got there though.

Sorry for the sidetracking James. Can this be used over the weekend or does it have to be used during the week?

How to check stray voltage using multimeter?

All joking aside, I think Sunny is trying to determine the amount of voltage in the water... not if there is voltage in the water.

My first, FOWLR, 44 gal pentagon

Heya John. The hammer looks happy there. I see you have that one other lil branch on the left. Probably not a bad idea to split it up and see which spot it likes best.

Kind of hard to see it in that pic. Can you take it out of the tank and get a closeup?

What Thermometer do you use and do you really think it's that accurate?

Paul, I'd love to tour your house one day... just to see all the DIY projects you've come up with, lol. As for thermometers, I just use a coralife digital, and I had two that were both different, so not sure which is correct. I kept the one that was closest to what my heater setting was on...

Introducin' my new green trach and duncan.....

Yea, they suck in the water and blow up like balloons. They will also have stages where they release all the water and shrink up real tiny. Don't let that worry you too much. It's part of their natural feeding process.

    lowering baffles for new skimmer

Yea, I'd see how it goes without making any cuts. If you're not happy with the performance and can't raise the skimmer any more, then you can cut the baffle down. This may require you taking the whole baffle out, cutting it down, then re-installing it... so your sump will be offline while you...

    Thirty 5's Deep Blue Rimless!!

Nice job on the holes. The only suggestion I'd make for future drilling would be to place a towel or something inside the tank to cushion the falling cutout disk. I couldn't tell if you did that or not, but it didn't look like it. I've heard people having problems where the falling disk...
